THE ARBOR PRIMUS
FAQ / CLEAR PRODUCT BOUNDARIES

Questions people ask about The Arbor Primus.

Find straightforward answers about Professional Builds, professional skill trees, resume creation, sharing, privacy, Education Trees, Hobby Trees, and employer views.

Is The Arbor Primus free?

The professional Build, Education Tree, Hobby Tree, and core discovery resources are designed around free access. Optional paid products are separate from the ability to begin organizing your capabilities.

What is a Professional Build?

A Professional Build is a connected Arbor Primus record of skills, branches, work experience, education, projects, credentials, and other professional context. It can support planning, profiles, resumes, and deliberate sharing.

What is a professional skill tree?

It is a visual way to organize capabilities as connected branches. The branches can show what you can do, how you learned it, where you applied it, and what you want to develop next.

Do I need to create a skill tree to make a resume?

No. After signing in, you can start directly with the resume path. The Arbor and Resume Ready workflow is available when you want a broader connected source of skills and experience, but it is not required to begin a resume.

How does the first free professional resume work?

A signed-in account can receive one first professional resume free after enough truthful content has been added to create and finalize a useful document. Meaningful direct-resume content can qualify, and the Arbor path can use Resume Ready to guide completion.

What can I add to my Build?

You can add skills, branches, work experience, practical experience, education, training, projects, credentials, achievements, optional evidence, goals, and related context. A separate Hobby Tree can hold interests and personal projects.

Can employers see my Build?

Only when you choose a public or shared view. Builds are private by default. Employers can review candidate-chosen information in a Public Build or application, but private and unpublished content remains outside public discovery.

Are Builds public automatically?

No. Professional, Education, and Hobby Trees start private. You control whether selected information is private, unlisted, or public, and you can change those settings through the existing account controls.

What is an Education Tree?

It is a learning-focused tree for school, training, courses, subjects, programs, credentials, and milestones. It can remain separate from the Professional Build or connect to capabilities when that adds useful context.

What is a Hobby Tree?

A Hobby Tree organizes interests and personal projects. It can stay private or separate, or you can choose to include selected hobby context in a resume or shared view.

Can students and experienced professionals use it?

Yes. Students can start with classes, projects, clubs, part-time work, or interests. Experienced professionals can map broad, changing, or cross-functional capability without deleting their existing experience.

Does The Arbor Primus verify every skill or guarantee a job?

No. User-supplied information, optional evidence, platform calculations, and defined verification results have different scopes. The Arbor Primus does not guarantee skill level, identity, safety, employment, income, interviews, or hiring outcomes.
