1. Choose a starting point

Start directly with a resume if you need a document, or open a Professional Build if you want to map capability first. You can also begin with an Education Tree, Hobby Tree, career map, or one practical skill. There is no requirement to have a long work history before you begin.

2. Add the context behind the skill

Connect a capability to the work, education, training, project, credential, or practical experience that helps explain it. Add only what is true and useful. Evidence, verification, and public sharing are optional layers—not entry requirements.

3. Review the shape of your story

Use branches to notice strengths, gaps, adjacent capabilities, and possible next steps. Resume Ready provides a guided path for an Arbor-based resume, while the direct resume path lets you build a focused document without first completing a tree.

4. Create what you need

Create a professional resume, keep building your map, prepare for an opportunity, or make a selected Public Build. You choose the output and the audience. Private account data, private Builds, unlisted links, and unpublished evidence stay outside public discovery.

5. Return as your direction changes
