What is an interview rehearsal tool?
Interview Rehearsal is a short writing flow for turning one real capability or experience into an answer you can practice out loud. Choose the conversation, name the prompt, anchor it in something you actually did, write a rough answer, and choose one editing lens before you use it.
Four prompts for a more usable answer
The rehearsal stays deliberately small so you can finish it instead of collecting a library of unfinished scripts.
- Choose an interview, networking, mentor, or career-change conversation.
- Write the question or introduction you want to be ready for.
- Connect the answer to a capability, responsibility, project, or real example.
- Draft the answer in your own words and choose what to strengthen next.
What you leave with
A completed rehearsal produces a private answer card with the conversation, prompt, anchor, draft, and one next editing focus. You can copy it, carry it into Interview Preparation, shape a resume draft, or practice another answer.
- A rough answer you can say aloud and revise.
- A clear reminder of the experience behind the answer.
- A next focus such as specificity, action, result, or connection.
- Optional account sync when you sign in; guests can keep working locally in the browser.
Practice support, not an evaluator
The rehearsal tool does not verify your story, grade your answer, rank your employability, or predict what an interviewer will decide. Keep the draft accurate, remove sensitive details you do not want to share, and adapt it to the real conversation.
Start with a partial Arbor
You can rehearse before your Arbor is complete. When your Build already includes capabilities or records, the tool offers them as optional context to review. Nothing is added to the Arbor automatically, and your sharing settings remain separate.
